Bug Reporting / Logictech 3D Extreme No Ui?

Hey Guys,

When i plug in the joystick my ui completely disappears(cant select spawn point, open map, etc.). When i restart FH2 and unplug it the ui is back. Any ideas?

Where there any Panzer 4 H with skirts and Zimmerit in the African theater? We started flames of war and i have 10 but would use them in my European force instead.

I prefer cost FREE DLCs since anything else splinters the community and ruins the game.
This is the case for both expansion packs and DLCs that you have to buy.

Although i agree with you it is a business. The reason i did not include Free DLC is 1) its becoming rarer and rarer. 2) personally i look at it as an optional patch. I will abstain further options till after i deiced to close the poll.

Edit: the poll is meant to say 5-10 not 6-10

Dont recall playing poland...unless it was that awful slaughter/lagfest or the desert map where everyone likes to knife fight.

The match against the Hungarians was okay for the most part. And was quite fun. As far as egos go there we a few people arguing but they where just being dumb. Ekalbs and flyboy1942 would happily get a US team together

Im doing research for a paper for school. 

Currently there are two forms of "milking" a game:

Standard Expansions Typically:                 
  • Typically 1 - 3 Expansions
  • Priced: 20$ - 40$
  • Roughly Contains 25% - 50% Of original game content
                       

DLC:
  • Typically 5 - 10 Packs
  • Priced: 5$ - 15$
  • Contains roughly 5% - 15% Of original game content[l/i]
My question is which would you rather spend your hard earned money on? If you need a scenario here one is:

You have an RTS you rather enjoyed it.
   It features 4 unique factions
   Each one had there own campaign.
   Had roughly 30 maps

Expansion would add:
   Two factions with respected campaign.
   8 Maps themed to the above factions
   Releases maybe one or two a year

DLC would add:
   A single faction with respected campaign.
   3 themed maps
   released roughly every other month or two

I want your honest bias opinion. If you want to add something feel free too. Thanks i appreciate you input and hope this isn't counted as spam. if you dont have anything useful to say please dont it dosent help.

IIRC, we could modify the hardcode right now, we'd just get our asses sued for modifying copyrighted content.

That and working with other people code is a b*tch.

Patching a program is one of the most tedious and boring things i ever have to do. Normally is a simple ordering problem or something that points to NULL. Debugging other people code is an entirely different story.

EVERY ONE codes differently at my school i follow the OOP(Object Oriented Programming) design method will most people follow traditional procedural programming. For a simple Pokemon Game W/Networking me and one of my group members spent a good portion of a week debugging the controllers for the code. he coded procedurally, this made his code look like a VCR Manual and he complained to me why i had so many classes when i could of had just one(he was wrong on this point fyi). But back to the main point i would sit and stare at his  code for hours and only see words. It got to the point where i told him just print everything to the console.

My point is debugging code is a very difficult thing, if you missed it once you probably will miss it agian. but debugging others code is F*CKING difficult and not fun as not only do you have to learn WTF the code is doing but learn how the other people code in order to fix the mistakes.

So next time you B*tch about bad coding realize that  coding an engine is F*CKING hard i have been working on mine for six month and still only have basic physics and im working alone so i dont have to code to other stander.

The mod team coders have there work cut out for them no matter how friendly a mod tool maybe. You need the patient of a cat and the wisdom of Owl to pull of what the devs do what they do and some kind of dark magic helps.

Well thats my rant i hope you enjoy it.

Just had the weirdest spawn ever in all my years of civ. int civ 5 i spawn on an island surrounded completely by mountains i had a total of 3 cities until i discovered flight only to learn over half of the other civs where already wiped of the face of the planet. Weirdest and funnest game ever.
