Bug Reporting / I have fixed the CMP update bug

After months of no luck trying to get the updater to run, nor manually updating it, I have solved the issue. I saw that it was always stuck on the same folder, /fh2/localisation/vietnamese, so I go there and I see there is no vietnamese folder, so I create one and what do I know, the updater immediately continues!

So if anyone has the same issue in the future, just create the missing folder.

Bug Reporting / I cannot update the Community Map Pack for some reason.

I start it, it's fine for a bit, but then it gets to one specific file and it just cannot download that, I think it's just some text file as well but I just see the message "Failed to download X, trying again" and then it just repeats over and over again.

Tried it several times, always the same result.

General Discussion / Are most of the British guns a bit broken for anyone else?

For some reason switching to iron sights on British guns, and most noticeably on the Webley and Bren gun, is really janky if you're looking around and activate it. It does happen to all guns, but not nearly to the same extent as with British guns.

I've been keeping an eye on that game for some time, and it seems to be the first game to be any close to FH2 in terms of game play. Of course, I doubt it will ever replicate all the fronts we see in this game, so I'll still stick around FH2 for as long as it exists.

General Discussion / Are the sights supposed to be like this?

Okay I know this has been done to death already, so don't burn me please. But I can't seem to find older topics on this using the search feature, so I'll just make another thread. The iron sights just kinda...lag out, I think is the best word to use, when I aim down. I was wondering if it's just a problem with the old engine running on new hardware or is it designed this way?

FH2 Help / Support / Voice Communication not working?

I'm still a newbie and can't play that often (Only about 30 hours) but I can't for the life of it get my mic to work in FH2.It works in BF2,steam and every other game I have,except this one.It's really frustrating when I'm in a squad and I try to warn them of a tank when I'm not recon and I get killed while typing the tank's location.Or when I have to warn my squad about a mine being placed somewhere and before I could finish typing someone already ran over it and died.
