General Discussion / reminder for server admins: maplists
« on: 16-07-2011, 17:07:42 »
Just a reminder to all server admins, lots of maps have been updated gameplaywise inlcuding Sidi Rezegh, Invasion of Crete, Sfakia, Point du Hoc, Lebisey, Ramelle. So no need for all servers to just run just the 5 brand new maps  :)

No practical difference to gameplay, just change brit flag to south african one (and if by the odd chance someone speaking afrikaans would record voice commands)

Suggestions / *hidden* accuracy timer - panzerfaust etc
« on: 12-03-2010, 15:03:06 »
One thing that bothers me is when I use the panzerfaust, and in game I have the ironsight aimed at the tank and all seems fine, yet when I fire the charge goes way off. I take it there is some hidden countdown and I didnt aim long enough. For some weapons like the MG42 & 34 you can see this at the bottom of the screen with 2 lines that close in on eachother, what I want is that this be added to basicly all weapons that have this countdown, because I think it's very misleading when the game shows you're aiming dead on.

Suggestions / Grb 39
« on: 26-02-2010, 20:02:13 »
Starting in 1942, remaining PzB 39 rifles were rebuilt with a shortened barrel (590 mm) and an affixed Schiessbecher ("firing cup") attachment threaded to the barrel and used to launch standard rifle grenades. The cup was the standard type used with the ubiquitous Kar 98k infantry rifle and the ammunition was also interchangeable; there were three types of grenades: an anti-personnel grenade, a light anti-tank grenade and a large-diameter anti-tank grenade. The grenades were propelled by a special cartridge with a wood bullet. The rifle was also outfitted with a special sighting arrangement for firing up to 150 m and the wooden forend was removed. These converted rifles received the designation Granatbüchse Modell 39 (GrB 39) and remained in use until the end of the war.

Breda modello 35 20mm AA gun used by Italians, Brits and Aussies. Same gun as in the L6/40, was used on some Saharinas.

Solothurn S18/1000
already in game on the Saharina, how about taking it and making it a deployable kit as standard Italian AT-Rifle?

Suggestions / commander & sl
« on: 15-02-2010, 13:02:22 »
would it be possible to give squadleaders targetassist for giving arty strikes? Many squadleaders dont bother requesting strikes. I think the old radio message that said "squadleader artillery available at your request" or whatever would be better because I think now most just think it's a request for an artillery spot (it's the same radio command, artillery ready for barrage).

Another feature I'd like to see is the specification of what strike the commander can give, for instance on some maps its first artillery, then mortar. on others it's flares or smoke.
Also a fix for the progress bar would be appreciated, I hate when the arty loads to full then goes back to zero again.

Suggestions / scouts

not many people use this class, in some games it's impossible to get an arty spot, so I wish there was something added to this class to make it more appealing. Would it for example be possible to give scouts ability to request commander arty (not many squadleaders use that ability either)? How about an extra s-mine, engineers get three anti-tank mines and those are heavier? also how about flags warning for smines too?
