General Discussion / Re: Would you remove any maps?

If it was about my personal tastes, i would remove all the infantry only maps. To me forgotten hope is fun when at least Battle of Brest ammount of vehicles is present.

Something I have noticed more often ingame - I hope you have not seen too much on the forum. Has the gaming community always been so overwhelmingly white, male, and reactionary? A sign of the times? Whatever it is, I'll try and keep up the good fight.

That kinda sounds like it's wrong to be a white male.

Anyways, good luck out there Djinn. I remember running into your squad few times back when i was playing actively and it was always a good run.

I got it and so far encountered no major issues. Game was crashing after one update and friend had some FPS issues even though PC specs were good, but all was resolved with rolling back to previous update.

In game shop is basically paying for cheats so completely unnecessary. Only consumables from the DLC are valid for one save, weapons should carry over to other saves. I got it in Day One edition but sort of forgot about it and didn't retrieve the items yet, so i'd say that's unnecessary aswel.

From my point of view its a solid sequel to Human Revolution and a game worth its cost. Being from Prague i might be slightly biased though  ;D

Can confirm that Gneisenau is a beast when it comes to AA. Tried attacking it with my Rangers full bomber loadout and it brought down most of the divebombers and then dodged torpedoes. I usualy take down BB's in one run with that loadout  ;D

If you guys want to team up add Admiral_Krieg .. tier 2-8

Did anyone ever tried contacting copyright holders about this? I wouldn't expect much from EA, but according to some people even miracles happen.

Fact is, major blocker for new players is BF 2 not being sold anymore. It is still possible to get, but most people just can't be bothered looking for it. Tried to lure some of my friends into FH 2 and most would like to try it, but don't want to look for BF2 all over the interwebz.

I think i won't be happy to be on the recieving end of these. Not much of artyman myself, but they look amazing.

Beautiful. If that map plays as good as it looks i'm looking at my new favourite map.

The perspective may be misleading, but this is the m/1943 (IL-2M) with the 23mm guns, and not the m/1944 (IL-2M3), correct? The wing would not seem to have the sweepback of M3.

If you mean the Sturmovik with 37mm cannons it was IL-2 Type 3M i think. While 23mm was IL-2 Type 3

This is a game, and should be kept like that.
If it's even possible, it would feel incredible sluggish and generally awful. It would also encourage camping even more. And that's not good in a 1S1K game.

Not to say that people would flee from the mod faster than you can say "Eastern Front coming 21. June 2015"

Nearly came in my pants when I saw glorious faustpatrone.

That one is already in the file, but we didn't include it yet. IMO it oculd be used on Normandy maps, but if you replace the Panzerfaust 30 with an inferior model you will have riots on your hand...

It's smaller. It could be 2-3 Faustpatrone instead of one Panzerfaust 30

Actually 7,92mm AP rounds could still hurt some of the light tanks.

Oh, Americans vs Germans over what looks to be China, with a plane from 1945 none the less.

One of the things that killed the game for me

You mean the Sherman with the spikes right? That is used for running over bocage without any problems as I read. Was something like that ever installed on German tanks?

I think those spikes were actually used to make holes in the thick parts to plant explosives in, as i don't see how bunch of spikes in front helps you drive through bocage.

I'm surprised to not find anything here about Falskaar mod. New story in new land, personally enjoyed it.
Should offer around 40h of gameplay
