I agree with Schwarze though as jan says it isn't that evident to implement.

I hope one day FH2 implements the SL's receiving points system tried on CMP events, too

Hello guys,

This issue is about a friend trying to join the game. He's been trying to join Forgotte Hope 2 on multiplayer but has been having conexion issues. He could join in the past, but after changing his router, FH2 has become unplayable for him as he gets the same error over and over when trying to join a server. He can join locally. He know it's a router or ports thingie becauase he tried in every computer at home, and every single one of those gave him problems. I provide you here a pic about the error:



We think it's a port related issue. We tried to solve it with @SgtAlex but no succes so far. He understand english and I can be intermediate anyway if someone offers a  live-helping hand as odball can share screen. He uses Windows10. Thanks

Looks a tad too dark to my taste, but let's see how it plays out. Great work, prepare to do a lot of "afterjobs", though ;)

In fact most of maps in FH2 are too dark IMO. I think Blander tried to represent as faithful as possible the Berlin day. It was too lighter before

Hi,

I don't  know if this was already discussed, but should Gazala and Villiers have a 32 and 16 layer? Also, how 762 works in deciding which layers is going to be played?
For example, today we were literally 4 players and VIlliers bocage (64 layer) started. It didn't even run the 32 one. Would be nice to have them if that doesn't suppose much work. Several times those situations kill completely the server.

First of all, the map played amazingly well for me! I thought it was going to be annoying but no. Atmosphere was great, I really felt we were somewhere blank. I played in both sides and and had fun on both of. As matt says, it would be a unique map and I see it worth working on it.

Map was chaotic yes, but that also happens with other maps and it makes it exciting and funny. It remembered me to sfakia, where that happens a lot. Specially because defensive team normally doesn't stay on flags but moves wherever they lose a flag, that makes it easier for the attacking side and is a well known issue in FH IMO.

But overall I agree with Matt who knows  a lot more than me about maps. The north main, well it was too easy to spot the germans coming since beginning.

I really like this idea and I thank all the people involved in make it happen. There are some classic SL players that imho will like also this idea, most of times they save the games for their teams and there is no "reward" for them, as they have to stay quiet and see only a bit of action if they wanna do their job properly.

For those who say that FH2 or games like it make people to play as a squad in a magical way, maybe they just haven t spent too much time playing here. Fh2, as loads of games, is plenty of lonewolfs. That's why you can see the server with 50 people per side and +20 players unassigned to squad. Also, lonewolfs join squads but then it s like if they weren't there.

But back to topic. SL  new system just ran fine yesterday on the cmp server, but I agree with Achtungsnow. I still see not too much difference between what I saw and what we already had weeks ago which is nothing. 40 meters , which is nothing in FH2, makes the SL to stay to close to the flag, hence he dies fast. Most of good SL don't approach that much because they know they re gonna face the enemy again and again. So, we need to change those 40 meters to 60 or more IMO. Also, now that I m getting used to be SL, I think the points you get aren't enough.
But, forme most important thing it s to change the meters thing. My 2 cents
