General Discussion / Re: Unofficial Complete FH2 Installer
« on: 20-02-2018, 23:02:34 »
Are the mentioned map packs optional or does it install everything there is?
I considered making them optional, but decided to include them in the main installation and here is why: CMP is de facto part of the FH2 now, because you can't play online without it
Sure you can on non-CMP server, I haven't installed CMP and won't install it.
Exactly this. And I found you saying that CMP is part of the FH2 now a bit offensive to be honest. It's not. It should be clearly stated. I don't mind additional bot support for 4 EF maps being included in this as it only a small addon to the official maps, but CMP should be optional.

Take it easy there Jan, im sure he meant its "included along with" FH2.

i will watch ONLY if Ts4EVER promises to show Fergie how to sings the American National Anthem correctly!!!

Will this be periodically updated when new content is added?

Here is a steam game many have heard about, but i just stumbled across. Looks promising & worth taking a look at. Seems to be similar to Post Scriptum with some interesting differences.

A platoon-based realistic multiplayer first-person shooter for PC set during the Second World War.

HUGE BATTLES - 100 players per game, 50 per team

COORDINATE - Win through teamwork, tactics, and communication

A NEW METAGAME - Capture sectors and resources to beat your enemy into submission

COMBINED ARMS - Over 20 different player-controlled vehicles and deployed weapons

EPIC THEATER OF WAR - Do battle across a 1:1 scale 4 kilometer-squared map

MORE THAN THE TWITCH - Supply, capture and building systems

EXPERIENCE HISTORY - Historically accurate arsenal with realistic weapon behavior

A MODERN ENGINE - Developed for Unreal Engine 4

Looks very professional.

If so, id love to see some photos for comparison.

I find the use of authentic swastika symbols very interesting.

Would this means it would be banned in Germany?

Reverse image search "0 results found" :-X

can I ask why you're making an alternate persona? are you like, planning to give speeches?

Yes, I'm going to buy a green screen, a good camera, an SS hat (without the nazi symbols, I'll replace those symbols with my own symbols) and an armband (identical to a nazi one, but with my own symbol).

I'm going to speak about politics, and how I think my nation should be managed - I will also speak about other things (for example, my first video will be about suicide prevention, a video made for people who think about killing themselves) and Im going to make some gameplays as well as forming a Portuguese group in order to play some games in a roleplay/teamwork/discipline environment. One of the games I'm thinking about doing it is on FH2 (in order to promote it) and I'll tell people how to get such game.

Yes i remember you. Took you under my wing & taught you the ways of FH2.

I never felt threatened by you because im 6'6" US military trained & would fly to Europe and kick your ass.... :P

If you branch off into public speaking dressed like that, you may find yourself in a small 6x9 cell young man.

Viel Glück!

WOW! Never heard of this. Most impressive.

Could this be FH3 in disguise. I think it could.

Will you be able to buy this off of steam?

Also its interesting they are using the swastika symbol.

Tactics & Tutorials / Re: FH2 Points Guide?
« on: 26-01-2018, 18:01:29 »
 Tank Kill - 7
 Defend Flag - 2
 Kill - 2
Spotter - 1 assist point for Teamwork

That's all i know off the top of my head. A tank kill is probably the highest points for a single act.

I would like to see a comprehensive guide as well. Perhaps there is one floating out there in cyberspace that someone would share.

Here's a map that I've been wanting to see in Forgotten Hope 2 for quite some time now: The Attack on Pearl Harbor. I'm not sure if the FH2 team would be willing to develop this, since CMP has been the only source of Pacific front content, but I thought I'd still put it out there nonetheless. Here is a bit of info regarding the attack:

Now that's a much better suggestion. Now consider that CMP has all of the Jap Statics, ships models ect and FH2 has none (Officially). So, submit this to them.

Now i have an assignment for you. I want you to select a map project for the Eastern Front Time Frame (Summer 44) It can be any of the current available armies (Soviet-German-Finland).

* Bonus Assignment

- Ask TS4EVER why the eastern Front map graphic on the maps page;

has the Polish army symbol, but no Polish army maps listed, then recommend a Poland vs Russia map

 Good luck.   ;D

The update is coming fairly soon.   I suggest everyone get their map "ideas" in now if they want them to be included  ;).

Affirmative, GeoPat. I'll start posting some ideas!

I see your sarcasm detector is broken.

lol it's hard to detect sarcasm over the internet, but I didn't notice that - ;)

Let the boy dream you fucking bastards...... :P

That map exists, I have it somewhere. It was started by a beta testers who left. IIRC the Russians had to cross a railroad line and then go up the hills (Orphanage hill and another one).

Oh, really? Is it completed?

He just posted that It was started by a beta testers, meaning no. :-\

Cool TS. If you find it post a mini map or whatever is available. Would be interesting to see what his plans were.
