When I'm wasted (like right now) I like to look up FH vids on youtube, and I can see even in 2019/2020 a lot of the old regulars are still playing! Wish I could join you guys lol. ;D

I'm totally drunk and I'm wondering what everyone (the FH oldbies) have been up to in these 5+ years since I've last played FH.. I'm curious as to how everyone else has been doing. Did Fuzzybunny ever come back? Is Lobo still in exile? Is Wolf still a thing?

Hopefully everyone is doing fine and still enjoying FH.

I've been saying this for a while (though not openly) but I think the best thing for FH to do is to make a kickstarter/whatever and get funded to make their own game. Though to be honest this probably would've worked better a long time ago (larger team back then if I recall), but I think there's still a chance to pull something off. I'm pretty sure the PR guys did it.

Yes, I've only tried the latest version (although mod.desc says it's 2.8.603). I'll try reinstalling BF2 again later and let you guys know if that worked.

Possibly unrelated, but I also had problems logging into my old account, and creating a new one was the only way to get the game to properly launch. Prior to making a new account, forgottenhope.exe would just idle in the background. Most likely due to being hung up on the login process.

Hey guys, so I was on Moddb and there is this guy called ProfKiller336, and he was interested in the screenshots I uploaded about F2 zombies, and he did some animations for zombies, so I asked him, why not join the FH2Z team? And he said yeah why not?

He is a mapper and tweaker. Lupin, what do you say?

You guys can do whatever you want since I'm not working on this anymore.  :P

I am taking it, very slowly. I am working on alot of other stuff that needs to get done.
Yeah the weapons and textures for the zombies is very hard to do.
Currently, zombies (with weapons) are scattered on each side in my maps. :P
Keep in mind i am in doubt also ;D

You need to give the zombie team gw_zombie kits. That's technically the only thing that makes them zombies.

Take a look at this:

DE is survivor and US is zombie, which is admittedly a bit arbitrary and confusing but it's how I did it. The most important thing is to make sure they all have the GW_zombie kit.

Awesome update, thank you for your time and work you spent on this mod.
Wake Island plays fine, but there are a couple of annoying bugs:
1). Until any flag on island is captured by survirors on island, they die immediately at aircraft carrier spawn.
2). Bots don't use planes at all.

Can't fix those. It has something to do with the maps AI pathing or whatever, which is beyond my abilities.

I just finished a quick and dirty patch with the wake island map. It also includes a couple mega-minor changes to the rest of the mod, although I can't even remember what they were. I don't even think I fixed any bugs.. Either way, all players will have to have this patch if they want to play wake.

Oh right, I "fixed" some dumb code which would make American survivors look like zombies. In order to use American survivors in your map, add these lines into the appropriate spot:

LevelSettings.CustomTextureSuffix "ORIG"

texturemanager.customTextureSuffix "ORIG"

Hopefully this patch works right, I didn't have a chance to test it with anyone.
