Thread necro because level 40. And there's still not much of a game in there.

Oh well, maybe my addiction will finally start to wane a bit now since apart from a couple of nigh-impossible to achieve medals there's only the trickling of new legendaries and regionals anymore.

I get the feeling the game will pick up a bit once the Switch's new side-Pokemon game is released later this year, as it is built to tie in to Pokemon Go.

What type of idiot would get his history lessons from a videogame like this? Do those people also watch blockbuster films to learn history related facts?
If you would have to feed all those who actually do that, even a third job wouldn't help you.

As an educator, I can say that you would be utterly amazed by how many students, of college age, get most of their history from movies and games.

IIRC they were barely used, plus the camera was generally moved to actually be over the copula.  Honestly, I would prefer just giving the commander these features already in the driving spot, rather than shifting them to a new position.

If what he wanted was to include female soldiers in Battlefield V for that reason, then they could have done historical justice to women who did indeed fight in combat, like Soviet women's units, Polish female partisans, or female auxiliaries in the German army at war's end.  But he, and they, don't actually care about history, or about respecting those women who fought and died in the Second World War.

Wonder how long before we show the blooper video of the film camera spinning out of control in mid-air! ;D

Yah, they are both semi-auto.  Full auto AK-74s do exist in the USA, but not the CZ 805 except for sale to law enforcement or such.  Full auto was banned from importation in 1968, and building of new full auto for sale to the public was banned in 1986.  Legally owned full-auto still exists (everything owned before 1986 is still legal) but the rareity and restricted prices means it costs thousands of dollars.

Yep, that certainly does answer that then!

Gotcha, I stand corrected there.  Still, that makes it even more interesting if they are surrendering, or if those are actually British POWs talking with them on friendly terms?

Are these two guys Brits?

No idea, Germans are from Sturmpanzer-Abteilung 216 on enroute to Anzio bridgehead (February '44).

As I said above, they are brits, so these guys are definitely surrendering.  I don't really see this being Anzio, unless you have proof to back that up.

Yeah, these are surrendering Germans.  LIkely Ruhr Pocket mass-surrender time period- the Germans drove their tanks up to surrender all their equipment and such.

That is one damn lucky Pz2 crew though.

Huh, didn't know they lend-leased Shermans to the Soviets. Did the Soviets like the tank?

Roughly, yeah.  Not the best armour, good gun, and especially liked the actual reliability/construction/crew comforts
