Is this supposed to be like this? I hope you guys will fix it in the next update/patch.

Do you mean the black thing in the window?  That's the gunner's armoured shield, it's supposed to be there, and moves around with the gun.  You do know you can right click to use the gun sights too, right?

Thanks, I did not know that there was an armored shield.
