While I absolutely loved Stashuv Area (the map) and that train does look pretty damn bad ass... I unfortunately dont see this happening in FH2.

Why would that be?

Well porting content from FH1 is sometimes as time consuming or more so than making the model from scratch. And making the model takes a long time/ would require someone to spend time making it (time that they're using for EF right now). Aka it's kinda low on the priority list of things to do. +idk what map it could be used on current or planned.

I would suspect it's one of those things that works better in bf42 engine than bf2 engine.

In the video they only fire the guns when the train is stopped.  That is probably realistic and would cut down on the bugginess, I would think.

Yep, it's on my "to do list"

To do list:

1.  Research(google) "how to do stuff with computers?"
2.  Learn how to do stuff with computers.
3.  Make a train on the computer, donate it to FH2.

Speaking of armored trains, having them in the game would make sense only if we have maps covering the German invasion of Poland, in september 1939. At the time they were already considered obsolete, but that's the only period of WWII when they were extensively used in combat.

Fun fact, polish armored trains used in the September Campaign (some of them with improvised armour made of sandbags only, some of them being from pre WWI era) proved extremely successful, destroying or damaging dozens of armored vehicles, shooting down three aircrafts, and inflicting substantial losses of the German infantry.

It was a big surprise for both Polish and German generalship and it actually prompted Germans to reintroduce armoured trains into their army ;)
