Actually this is how kits are designed. Knife and pistols have been removed from mg kits because of a glitch, on Foy the regular K98 and Garand classes have two grenades, moreover both officer and anti tank kits have a pistol.

You need a compatibility patch. You can get one at pixel-fighter.com.

Personally I had lots of fun in the past on their server, but it seems it's dying lately... Hardly ever goes past 40 players so 128 slots is just a waste... However Japanese FHSW PrinceUmeboshi server runs 70 slots and it's usually full in their primetime... But my ping is over their ping limit so I can't play there...
The ping limit has been slightly increased a couple of weeks ago to allow european players to join their server. You should give a try, it's epic :D

Yes they have a patch but I can't tell you more about it, it makes my game ctd so I don't use it, but it works fine for other people.

Yes - No - No.


You need a clean installation of BF1942 in order to enjoy fh1 :disable User Account Control before installing it, then install both patch (1.6 & 1.61b), then install FH, and run it with Win98 compatibility mode as administrator. You might have to update pb manually aswell.

I've been kicked many times from my squad to be sent to the other team, I don't think it'll prevent you from being teamswitched either. It makes me ragequit, especially when your squad is doing a good job...
I also wonder why server settings are so that it's almost impossible to teamswitch, I mean you can't switch as long as your team does not have at least one extra player, maybe you could be more flexible and allow players to switch with less troubles. I prefer BF1942's system, it's smarter, teambalance is ON only if teams are really unbalanced.

Hey Sheik, do you know if high pingers are kicked from Prince Umeboshi ? I have noticed that server but I've not installed maptweaks yet, because I fear I might be kicked. I will figure it out by myself, I'm downloading the latest version.
