I haven't been that into it, but a change to a "socialist" president will only get better. At least the right-wing extremes didn't win (Sarkozy having some strange opinions on immigrants himself).

But then again, Hollande isn't exactly socialist. And like every election in the western world, it will be the same but different.
I see were you are trying to reach: "how can a 17 year old kid have such a thinking like this? why doesnt he wants to be like normal teens who whana get rich? and his plan actually makes sense, but is too damn revolutionary and good at the same time than is still doubthfull if it works..." - Damaso

As far as I know the party is not too far left. More like social democrats, maybe a little more left. He guess he is gonna do more for the French people than Sarcozy did.

The only thing I liked about Sarcozy was his quick acting at the Lybia crysis. Just a few days or weeks later and it could have been too late already, but thats my very personal opinion about that. I doubt Hollande has the balls for giving the order to intervene in such a situation.

As a French I'd be happy though. Without knowing too much about French politics, Hollande is the better man for the country, since he probably can not be worse than Sarkozy relating home policy.

We shall see.

To change topic, I wasted 10 bucks today on the Warband Napoleon DLC, which is broken for some reason.  Cannot join servers, nothing I have tried works to solve it.

If you apologize for your treacherous language I might lift the CPS boycott.

Great, Belgium squashed between Holland and Hollande...

I believe it is time to implement the plan devised by our great King Leopold II to invade Holland, and then my own plan to occupy Wallonia

Nonsense, there's a fair piece of land between Belgium and Holland.

No, Belgium is not. Since Holland is only 1/10th of the Netherlands. In between Holland and Belgium is Zeeland/Noord-Brabant.

Just open one floodgate by the sea... a nation gets wiped out.

Aww, that's so sweet how you guys try to explain the segmentation of your fatherland again and again :D But I'm sorry, for Germans Holland is = Netherlands. I even think that lots don't know that Holland is just a part of NL, quite shameful though. I guess it's the same in Belgium.

Sorry Fuchs, Holland just being a part of the Netherlands will never be accepted in your neighbouring states :P

I know, I just want to ruin the pun  :) Even Dutch people say Holland but 'Hollander' (a person from Holland) is slowly starting to become an insult for arrogant people who live in that area and then leave for the countryside.

And as Flippy said, open a floodgate and Holland is gone. Luckily I'm far above sea level.

Well, I use "Holland" in our local tongue, so it means the Netherlands. But Holland is a great place to start, besieging Amsterdam, then flooding it, then move on to Den Haag or something like that, PLUS Amsterdam gives you access to the inner seas
