Phoney war hmm...          a map centered around a village...          something doesn't add up.  8)

Will there be an objective game mode version where as the French you have to retreat to win the round ? ;D

Here we go again

At least your nation isn't known for leading a "cavalry charge against tanks"

I don't think Germans would need new playermodels for France 1940. Simple texture change could probably be enough  ???

Bring on the green uniforms!

I'm liking the recent Finnish armour we've been seeing. Amazing models, I've always been a fan of the Finnish tank camouflage.

Questions about the renders: does the ID of the left render say "Ps.531-61" ? And is the right render's name "Sotakarhu" ? I ask this because this website doesn't contain those tanks - http://www.andreaslarka.net/sturmi.html

Can't believe the Great War ended 100 years ago, rest in peace to all who died in war.

*Fall Gelb 1940, not all the action happened in France alone.

Edit: Cmon tell us which map it is pizzaman :D

Not my place to reveal the map, but maybe it will be announced in a news post in the distant future? I mean why else would there be talk about French stuff on FH2 discord channel?

...And its definetly France 1940. But probably there will be one more russian patch before france (Prohorovka,TaliIhantala, and jankurator map)

Who said that it had to be in France?  ;)

The thing after the colon is still a mystery for me, I'm guessing it is an image uploaded on Imgur (banned in Turkey)  :'(

Why would your country ban imgur? Let me know if you can see these:

Pizzaman do you think its maybe this village ? Its conected directly to crossing of Sedan and is very  interesting  battle.

Villers-le-Tilleul
...

Nope, the real village on Google Maps looks exactly like the minimap. No rotations or assumptions needed.

I spotted plenty of French stuff in the changelog and a lot of talks going on about France in the Discord channel of FH2. France 1940 campaign is definately coming!   ;)

Lets not forget about what's about to happen here:  ;)

Well I got to say, "Singling" sure has changed through the years..  ;)

Now we must address the important question here: is there a new or existing church static used in the town?

Alright boys, lets try to crack this case wide open: from what I'm seeing it appears that at the bottom of the map there are some blue-ish/grey blobs which could possibly represent German Panzergrau painted vehicles. Panzergrau paint was seen on most German armour between 1939-41 which is the timeframe for the map. Also, I noticed the bright clay-brown and grey roofs on the town's buildings which looks a lot like the French house statics. Therefore, this must take place in France of 1940.

Now the question is what village is this? It certainly looks untouched judging by the lack of mortar craters and ruins. My best guess is a battle during Fall Rot??? ??? ???

EDIT: Holy shit I just figured it out, and yes it looks exactly the same on Google earth...
