I do but then there is no use of the deployed mode....

you can still fire quite accurate with "undeployed" mode when prone
and yes for the BAR the sights might be a problem but if you use them on long range they work fine and thats what they are supposed to be used for ...

the LMG is deployed." <- look what i found in the project reality manually
(although the game is not the same with fh2 the both have the same feature.
