So, after wearing neckties for years I finally decided to take the step of buying my first bow tie. It looks really fancy, as it´s made from silk, and has a nice pattern. Now I just have to learn tieing that thing until Saturday.  ??? ;D

Nah, I´d rather not rely on someone else for this. After tying it a few times I can get some fairly good knots now without too much fumbling. Thanks to Youtube tutorials!  ;D

Steam is currently having some serious issues going on, please do not use the store!

EDIT: Problem is now resolved, however I'd advice not to use steam store or community page for few hours.

Wow, cancer kill in 48 hours.
According to an interview of Motörhead drummer Mikkey Dee, well, make of what you will of this:
"He said 'bye, f--- it' and passed away. He was playing a video game, paused it, and died. It was on his terms and so typical of him. He did not want to lie in bed as a vegetable, he was in control to the last. He died in peace. When he heard that he had cancer he said 'Well, I had a good run'."

Would be badass, but doubt the story.  The articles everywhere keep saying he was playing a video game, but it was a video poker machine that he liked.

Lemmy being Lemmy, I can well imagine him deciding to decide the hour and method of his death. As for the confusion about the game, reporters probably first heard that he had been playing an arcade machine (brought from his usual hangout) when he died, and without knowing the specifics interpreted it as a video game (implying there are arcade video games outside Japan playable in public places anymore).

Although, if he was playing a poker machine, well... the Ace of Spades meme popular if Finland just got an extra boost. Too soon?

Well, that's some real shitty news. He did have a pretty good run.

You can't say he didn't live up to it.

Has anyone read "Kaputt" by Curzio Malaparte?
