Yes they were very good. Unfortunately the new area I live in does not have a huge "international" aisle like my previous area did. They sell really dinky 7oz bottles of hoisin sauce for like $5. Totally ridiculous. ...yet too delicious to not cook again.

My roommates have devoured most of them but I've managed to hide a stash

I missed the fall of Damaso? That was the craziest guy to ever go on these forums. What actually got him banned?

I've started learning asian cuisine a bit as well.
  • First off are Taiyaki. A Japanese dish, you take some pancake mix and adzuki beans and toss em together after turning the beans into a paste. Very tasty and good for any time of the day.

  • Second are Char Siu Bau, just pork buns. Spent all day making these since the steps take awhile. Have to wait for dough to rise and ribs to cook, etc.

They are ugly but quite delicious. Some pork rib meat and onions made for a good snack.

Did you get the filling right?

If it is right, you can test it by poking the Taiyaki with a chopstick, and squeeze the bean paste out of it. The best impression is if you poke it right at its arse.

Then for char siu pao, not my taste. Do you go for BBQ sauce or typical Chinese sweet red sauce? I prefer western BBQ, although none of dim sum joints offer that.

The Taiyaki were perfect. I'll have to give a try towards poking them in the ass to test the bean paste  ;D

For the pork buns I just used hoisin sauce

WT has been alright for me. Can't really play T4 of any of my planes because bomber spam is ridiculous. Ground forces has been fun but nobody really plays in the U.S. for GF. Takes some time to find an upper tier match. I mostly play Russians but have been getting my Germans to join them at T4. The Panther is probably the bane of my existence, due to being unable to really get a good shot on them from the front in my T34-85 D-5T

Allo Allo people and Theta  ;D

Figure it is time I get back on here, been awhile since I've had the pleasure of running around in FH. Certainly miss driving party cars and wild dance parties in the bushes of Bocage. Of course, how could I not mention the Storch?

Brief update on life; I've transferred to a huge state university. Ironically enough, Muddy graduated from the same university the semester before I transferred in. Getting good hole in the wall restaurant locations from him is like pulling teeth  ;D

Still studying electrical engineering which is nice, just about done knocking out all of my gen ed. before I dive into the program.

Living in an apartment now, it is interesting being an hour or so from home. Kind of nice having freedom but my roommate is a slob.

Drive a jeep now, not a beautiful M38 or a willys but a 2004 TJ/Wrangler. Great vehicle none-the-less, save for the gas mileage! For airsoft I've got a nice rig where I have an M60 mounted up top. It has been very popular at events and I've a trillion photos being uploaded once the photographer is done weeding out the bad ones.

Speaking of airsoft; I'll be opening up a field with an old friend of mine so that will be exciting! I look forward to never having to look into city ordinance codes again. Some counties have very weird building codes depending on how the land is zoned  ::)

Probably the biggest update is getting engaged, which has been great.

It was confirmed by devs that Germans will get the Canadair Mk.5 Sabre, and a Mig15Bis. Since they were both employed by divided Germany.

There has been discussion by the devs to add three or so years to the cut off date for certain trees, so that all nations get a roughly equally tiered jet for end game
