Flare signals

 I suggest that the Very pistol (flare pistol) be implemented into all Officer's kits with the intention of replicating their use in the field of battle.

With the addition of selectable colours (Red and Green), the players of FHmod would in turn be allowed to co-ordinate our actions across squads which would in turn enhance gameplay by promoting teamwork in the assault.

 Common to all parties in WW2, this is a feature sorely lacking to date apart from Op. Hyacinth.

That would actually be fun. I mean it wouldn't be used for coordination on public servers, but just to mess around, why not.

I'm also sceptical on how well this would look on public servers.. but on the other hand, it's only for NCO kits, and might be kinda cool in a useful kind of way in the hands of teamplayers.

also.. sheik, check your pm :)

Are green lights possible? ::)
I'd like to see the flaregun effect redone, to be honest.

I like this suggestion, you could use it as an alternative for artillery spotting and nothing shows an aircraft where to hit better than a big pile of green or red smoke. But then again all it would do is alert the occupiers of the area that they are about to get sodomized. What was the range of a flare gun in WW2 and its main field use?

Great suggestion I think. Especially sometimes your teammates just don't listen when you spam in chat that "There is a squad over THERE."

yea, sometimes you just lack the skill to kill a certain guy that you need teammates to help   :-[   (yet your teammates can't see those guys, sometimes, maybe just my sense is more sensitive...)

Actually it would be cool, you spot for arty, shoot a flare gun with smoke 2 maybe isolate your planned position of attack, or just 2 smoke for a pickup.

I like this suggestion, I was thinking about it myself I do know that british troops used to fire red flares up in the air to warn advancing tanks that enemy armour had been spotted in normandy. Would be nice to have that ability ingame, it's easy to miss a spot on the minimap but you'd be hard pressed to miss a big red flare shooting up in the air :)

I like the information on the red flares for a bit of an 'Achtung Panzer' warning. How else were flares used in actual battle? Any old farts here know? Von Mudra?
