I know that BG 42 is a Battlefield 1942 mod but it could inspire you.

Battlegroup 42 was a bit arcade-ish, was good, but FH is much better on the historical side.

On the other hand, there was a Battlegroup Frontlines, which was a Eastern Front mod for BF2.

I think the developpers/community are still very active.

I wached video Kursk battle but wasnt imprest.The map looks like from bf1942 and i think it is and i saw stuka,one AT,and german light armored car are same or taken from fh2

Yeah there is a video of a ripped version with FH2 stuff, but afaik the original doesn't have those.

Well good work to all of you for summarizing and generally dismissing a mod which may very well have more quality content than any other. It seems the majority of those ~150 maps will remain undiscovered for a few more years to come, as well as the apparently unremarkable Greek and Nationalist Chinese armies, as well as everything else that is unique.

Used to play BG42 back in the day, way way before FH even came out. It was fantastic.

Afaik yes. Ik there's some active servers on the weekends. Pixel fighter still gets a few people a night iirc too.

Watch the video.The voice,MG 34 and MP 40 are the same like in PR WW2?I think they took this from this mod because it is the same.
