My German is really bad. I can read the simple stuff fine sometimes but when it comes to writing it I'm just horrible. I never really grasped the German grammar structure so I just use the English structure except with German words. ::)

My der die and das could use a little work too.

Ignoring the fact that this thread has been completely hijacked, I couldn't find on gametracker anywhere that lists TK's, vehicle damage, team damage, etc.. An individual players overall score, as listed by gametracker, seems to be irrespective of any sort of seperate tracking or accounting of negative in game scoring. That being said, along with sheik's instantaneous use of profanity and namecalling the second someone made a possibly erroneous or incorrect statement, lends me to believe that possibly, just possibly sheik could be capable of TK'ing if he were to perceive, wether intentional or not, someone stole his tank/plane. Again, just an innitial impression obtained from this correspondence, I am not aware of any direct contact he or I may have had on any server, so my conclusion is purely speculative at best. Just because someone has an high OVERALL score, doesn't necessarily mean that they are not a complete jackoff in game. :)

Sheik has a short temper, sure. But I have never seen him intentionally TK someone in game.

I imagine Sheik accidentally TKed Stevo once or twice without noticing and Stevo took it personally.

Cool, I didn't know there were ranks on hslan. My best account is on the 1134th place  ;D

Heh. I played on the 101st server for a couple hours today and I'm already 16th place on it. ;D

Sheik's an alright guy.

I don't know where all of these TKing accusations are coming from. I've been in a squad with him several times and have never had any problems.

I just wish that there were more populated American servers when I'm awake. I recently had to change my sleep schedule which means I have to go to bed at around 9 - 10 PM and wolf is apparently almost never populated prior to those hours. And being on the west coast, HSLAN is not an option as I get about 350 ping there.

Midway, BF1942 style. Although the ships might pose a problem thanks to BF2s wonderful engine.

Karelia but if i had to choose from normandy it would be bocage, hope we see thunderbolt or razorback in 2.2.

This too.

I really liked Zipang. Dont suppose you know if they will ever continue it do you?

No idea. I think the last couple of episodes closed off any possibility of a second season.

I just dont understand anime and why people are so obsessed with it, i probably never will.

It's just an art medium. As with all other forms of entertainment there's the bad stuff, and the good stuff. It sounds like you have had the misfortune of experiencing mostly the bad stuff.

Of course, I can't recommend you any good anime, as with movies there are many different genres and settings, ranging from WWII, the future, and everyday life.

Although when it comes to WWII, there is the OVA (original video animation) "The Cockpit" which has three stories. One is about Japanese Ohka pilots, the other is about FW-190s, Ta-152s and Germanys nuclear program (if I recall), and the third one is.. well I can't quite remember.

There is also "Zipang" which is the story of a modern day SDF aegis cruiser being sent back in time to WWII (much like The Final Countdown), and the series details the moral implications of them fighting back. Eventually they are forced to engage an American carrier group despite trying not to get involved.

There are many others that I can't remember at the moment.

As another example, here is a clip from the Area 88 OVA, which has plenty of modern air combat.

No subtitles sadly, but the detailed dogfighting is more than enough entertainment.

Or you can go to 4chans /a/ board if you don't mind getting 30 posts saying it's Boku no Pico or Bible Black (Don't google these ::)).

On a second look, each picture seems to be from a different early 90s anime. This is just some fan-service compilation picture.
