Yeap, I'm getting that.

IDR 100,000 (USD 8) for ARMA2 + all DLCs is a deal not to be missed.

RAGE is on free play until 26 November, don't know what is it all about. It is also heavily discounted this weekend for only US$5. Apparently an FPS shooter, combining elements of Bethesda's Fallout into ID's Borderlands graphic engine and wasteland theme.

Just giving you a heads up.

According to a leak a few weeks ago, steam will have an autumn-sale starting today.
I see were you are trying to reach: "how can a 17 year old kid have such a thinking like this? why doesnt he wants to be like normal teens who whana get rich? and his plan actually makes sense, but is too damn revolutionary and good at the same time than is still doubthfull if it works..." - Damaso

Oh boy oh boy!

50% off Wargame Airland Battle.  I was actually just about to buy it this morning before I saw Ted's post.  Saved me some money!  Yay

Quick question: How do the Steam winter sales function? Is everything reduced or simply for a small time certain products? I used it to buy Mass Effect last year but I can't remember if it was for sale all the time or just for a short period.
If the latter is the case, is there a way to find out when comes out which game?
I am getting a bit confused when visiting the Steam main site. I can't wrap my head around the design. When choosing "News" all I get is useless news.

Depends on the game. Some are on sale for the entire time, some go on flash sale for a couple of days, some are on sale for days then go on an even better sale (25% to 80% etc).

Not really a sale but GOG.com is giving the original Fallout games for free:

The site is a bit overloaded at the moment ;D

Doesn't seem like it. There was no option to change language during download or installations.

Also, you get a lot of extra stuff, like wallpapers, soundtracks, manuals, artwork and a shit ton of other things.

and here I bought a non-working-steam-version of fallout 2, 6 months ago, with no possibility of a fix.

I have suggested it so many times already. But right now, Rock of Ages is in the humble bundle (at humblebundle.com). Get it.

Quite a long one indeed.
