Hi all,

I once read (can't remember where) that a heavy German self propelled gun (or tank hunter, or assault gun, excuse my English) such as a Sd. Kfz. 186 Panzerjäger Tiger Ausf. B managed to single handedly destroy about 15 to 20 enemy tanks during the Battle of the Bulge. I could never find any information on this so it is most likely not true but I thought I would nevertheless try to ask here.

And no, I'm not trying to prove that Americans are bad soldiers, that Shermans are crappy tanks, that Germans were supermen, that their tanks were impossible to destroy, that The Jagdtiger was a brilliant concept, that Wittmann destroyed all the tanks that were ever built with his Maus, etc.

Believe me, I'm no fanboy and no fool. I'm just interested to know if this is true.
