Include free look for AA guns.
« on: 08-08-2011, 07:08:25 »
Is actually the most annoying process to look around with the AA. I know is fast, fast as your mouse. But it would be more essencial to have a free look on the AA guns.

Neither the flak 38 nor the flak 20 have free look. That makes me a sad panda.

Totally agreed!

Rotation is fine I believe, any slower and stationary weapons will be even more useless...
This sentence is intentionally left unfinished...

Yes, freelook for all stationary weapons. Gets my vote too.

Well so far everyone likes the idea. Answer from the devs please? It is necessary.

I am not usually one to pester the devs for an answer, but this time I hope they do weigh in.

Was it tested and found to make the guns too strong? (perhaps through some exploit)
Is the there some technical reason which makes it difficult/impossible?
Or is it simply languishing in their 'to do' pile?

I do hope they adress this. The Bofors 40mm also lacks free look.

I too noticed this last night. I definitely support the motion.

Is there any way you could, perhaps, make the freelook more organic and less slow/smoothed? It feels quite unnatural... when I'm driving my car my head turns don't move as slow as a defgun   ;D
