So, the guys behind FinnWars mod for Battlefield 1942 have started collecting funds for new standalone version of the game, which is using Unreal Engine 4. For those who don't know, FinnWars mod concentrated on battles between Finland and Soviet Union during World War 2, with bit of Lapland War (Finland vs. Germany) in the side. I'm not going to go in much detail here, on the Indiegogo funding page the devs tell pretty much everything about the game, but I copied the feature list here for everyone to see. For what I've read there, it sounds very cool and the theme is of course very close to my heart. Me and many other Finns here in FH community have our roots in FinnWars community.

They fixed the Camoflague unlocks. In order to unlock camo-skins, you have to do air-to-surface kills with a ground vehicle. But until yesterday the game registered only surface-to-surface kills with a ground vehicle, which is obviously true in a tank battle. Thus those kills did not count.
Now they game reports back, that you actually did an air-to-surface kill with your tank, accounting for the unlock.

When you kill other tanks with a tank, it gives you "air win streak"

I really didn't like the tanking part in this game. I find EVERYTHING so clumsy (I mean in way it's not the tank being clumsy, but the overall feel of the game) and that text on the screen... hrr.. + 3rd person sucks, even for driving, but the sights suck even more. Also, I can't insert a key to fire extinguisher, or different ammo types?

Germany uses ar15 variants? Do SWAT teams count? Cause states buy their own weapons for their police, so there is not much standardization (Berlin SWAT has Revolvers, for instance), but the military? BTW I have seen Spetsnaz with ar15 derivatives.

I believe it counts HK416 and 417. + Finland doesn't use AR-15 variants, even though the graphic says so.

Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game with Kaiserreich v1.5 mod.

Started playing as Hungary, which in the beginning is part of Austro-Hungarian Empire, basically a puppet under Austrian rule. Through event chain I started a civil war and won the Austrians in war that dragged on for 2 years and managed to secure independence.

During this time, situation on the Balkans was pretty hot; Serbia (who had conquered Bosnia and Croatia from me and Austria during our war), Romania, and Greece were planning a war against Bulgaria, who had conquered some of their territories in the "Great Weltkrieg". Bulgaria asked me for help, and I promised to guarantee their independence. The alliance probably didn't see me as a threat, since they went on with the war. Two front war wasn't really what Romanian and Serbian militaries could handle, basically I destroyed them both while Bulgarians were holding off the Greeks. Now, it's late 1941 and I control Croatia, Serbia and Romania as puppets. Kind of expecting to get attacked by Austria soon...

I mean other than AT rifles, what kind of grenades, mines, explosives etc. were infantry of all armies given early in the war, because I really only know about British weapons (Hawkins, Sticky bomb, Thermos nuke, etc.) and Germans (that geballte thing with 8 grenades). I'd love to learn more about personal anti-tank weapons infantry had early in the war, issued or improvised.

Koivuhalko.

All people here haven't read the books. This thread is only to discuss about the tv-series and episodes shown. Here is a thread where you can discuss what happens in the books further. Next spoiler will result in a ban/readonly.

My most sincere condolences, Luftwaffe. At least it happened when he was doing something he enjoyed.

Best to go quickly, instead of gradually getting worse, like my grandfather did.

Veel sterkte.

Couldn't probably have said it better. My deepest condolences.
