For the Queen!

I wasn't entirely sure whether to put this in Bug Reports or suggestions, but anyway as I was playing on Operation Totalize today, some other player was spamming the "Charge" sounds.

 Then he pointed out that the Canadian soldiers shout "For the Queen!" as opposed to the British soldiers and their "For the King!" 

Now correct me if I am egregiously wrong, but as George VI was king at the time, so why do the Canadians shout this?  A minor oversight, but a little bit glaring.  (Unless there was a Queen of Canada at this time that I am unaware about.  )

I just assumed they were referring to Queen Elizabeth (i.e. the current Queen's mother).  Not sure why the voice-overs do this though - you'd need to ask DICE.

Someone mentioned this in-game once and there was a good answer as to why, but I can't fucking remember it.

Please don't change it, though. The Canadians have the best voice commands in the game.

According to that list it was King George VI (Albert Frederick Arthur George of Canada) who reigned Canada in 1944. Reign: 11 December 1936 - 6 February 1952.

The Queen Mother toured Canada just before the war, and she was well loved by the Canadians. And apparently she like Canada at least as much;

"According to an often-told story, during one of the earliest of the royal couple's repeated encounters with the crowds, a Second Boer War veteran asked Elizabeth, "Are you Scots or are you English?" She replied, "I am a Canadian!"

Maybe the DICE voice command is reference to this.
