XWW2 release soon?

I was a big fan of XWW2 back on bf1942; i think i played it more than FH tbh. But what I'm seeing from their new mod, i'm not too impressed, maps look meh, textures look meh, models look meh. IT LOOKS SO BLEEDING MEH.

I remember back when it was originally called 'Soldier 9 Realism Mod'. I've probably still got it lying around on a backup disk somewhere.
I wholeheartly agree with the above:
It just looks meh. Sure a lot of work went into it which I can appreciate but after experiencing both FH2 not to mention BGF for a little while, it just looks, well, meh.

I'm excited to see how it plays, the graphics don't really bother me. There might something we can learn from them.

Im also looking forward to it, it would be fun with another ww2 mod for bf2, just hoping it gets released in a way that attracts servers, players and communitys.

I dont know what it's about though? is it bf2 gameplay, more like POE2 or what exactly... is it?

Wait up, is this the mod for '42 wich had some releases round 2003? If so ill have to try out the bf2 mod since it was the first mod i have played ever. I remember how i felt killing someone with 1 shot :O.
