bf2.exe crashed

Hi guys,
I'm getting quite desperate. I'm working on it for hours now but it just won't work. I've tried everything. Deleting the cache removing, copying and replacing the shaders_client.zip files. But it just says bf2.exe crashed would you like to report to the fh2 team  :'(
I've also reinstalled fh2. If i start it by starting bf2 and activate the mod it works but when I aim everything's grey. I know it's because fh2 has to be started by klicking the fh2.exe but as i wrote it just won't work.
edit: I'm also running it as an admin.

I'm running a Laptop with Windows Vista, 4 gig ram, Geforce 9600M GT and a Core2 duo.

Does the game crash right upon entering or after you have played for some time?

Crash everytime I join a server, after >1 minute, often after just 10 seconds. Hadnt this problem before today.

This has happened to me too.  Right when I load the map, I click the button to start playing and it crashes.

Hi, this happends to me too right after i start the game then it throws me back on the desktop :( ive been searching for hours in other forums but i cant find any post, that really would help me :(

you could try runing fh2 in windowed mode that gives you the possibility of catching the error msg.

to do this open the fh2.exe SHORTCUT properties and in the command line add

+fullscreen 0

if an error msg is posted after the next crash plz make a screenshot and report back.

while in windowed mode the main menu button can appear a bit fucked up but they still work

Well i reinstalled BF2 and FH2, now i can start the game an also play singleplayer, but when I want to play online an click on a server, the game chrashes again...

Have you tried running the game in windowed mode to see if an error message pops up?
Another thing would be to try to switch off any kind of Firewall which you might have running.

Okey now i dont know what heappend, I wanted to start the game in window mod, as you recommanded, now this....

Do a search on staticmesh.fx in this forum. There are solutions for this problem.

I get crashes too, it can happen after 1 hour of playing, it can happen after 10 seconds.

I think I crashed a couple of times the instant I killed someone but I can't be sure of it.

Btw, I'm running the latest RC build of Windows 7 64-bit.

Bf2 1.5 patch causes some machines to set the program to run in windows 95 compatibility mode. Click on your exe properties and uncheck run in compatibility mode.
