FH2 Help / Support / Strange CTD
« on: 16-12-2015, 01:12:33 »
So lately, I have been getting ctds, and I'm not entirely sure why.  I have been playing a coop server, which I set up from the main FH2 menu.  Here is a cap of the error message I got when I ran it in windowed mode.  The crashes seem to be random as well, I haven't been able to pinpoint a trigger.

I got those crashes on Meuse too - usually near Farm, but I had no error messages either.

I just noticed 2.47 was just posted...

*scurries away to download...*

I love all of the improvements, I have been playing FH2 again the last few days, and I think there has only been one CTD thus far.  I am enjoying the way bots are behaving, and I like the new commrose too :)

Thanks for all the hard work, it is certainly appreciated!

Thanks for this patch, I have played through a couple of maps now in coop mode, and really enjoyed some of the maps I haven't been able to play before, like operation hyacinth.  Great work! :)

Thanks for converting the map radiosmersh, I'm glad that more people are enjoying it - if anyone wanted to convert the german stuff to italian, go ahead :)  It would make more sense that way...

Well, here is the .rar file for the old SP version of Beda Fomm, if someone wishes to tinker with it

Yes, there was a version of Beda Fomm that I had navmeshed, but unfortunately it doesn't work with this version of FH2.... perhaps one day I will redo it lol.

Thanks so much for this, I just finished playing through Operation Cobra and Tunis, and the rebuilt maps are great, there are a few more I want to try this evening, but I'm really impressed so far, great work!

Thanks so much for this :)

@CF

Yeah, I noticed those boxes too, I don't know what is causing that, I have to say I haven't really tried too hard to figure it out though.  It probably is a lighting issue, I'll try and isolate what it is.

I forgot to add, I use it all the time in 2.4 and I have had no problems playing single player with it.

This is a link to Beda Fomm, I added SP to it some time ago :-)

That sounds like a pretty epic fight lol - I might have to try this and see what happens for me too.  After you ESAI-ified it, did you notice the brits having a problem getting out of their base still?  Just curious about that, it seemed like before they were indecisive rather than there being a mesh problem, I dunno.  I did change the importance placed on the Beda Fomm points, which would explain why both teams were hellbent to take them.

I'm glad a few people are enjoying the single player version of this map, Azreal did a really nice job on it :)

@cannonfodder - Yeah, I dunno, I couldn't figure that one out either, I think the mesh is fine, since some get out and others don't.  I noticed myself that one would get out, and then sort of stop and cause a traffic jam behind him until he moved off, and everyone else seemed to get confused.  I will take a look at the mesh in Maya again and check.  And yes, not a fan of fileplanet either, I wound up dl'ing 2.4 as a torrent.  I'm interested to see how this map plays after it's ESAI-ified :)

@ Len - You're welcome :)
