I need to get things off my chest.

......

Good on you! Stay strong, the force of the computer is strong... I (almost, sometimes I still just waste time) got rid of mine around 2 years ago, after I started at Uni and started going out. Exercise is also a very good idea :)

I think it's a Paasky map.
Words that send shivers down the spine for anyone ill-fated enough to have witnessed one of my maps in action  ;D

Meanwhile in Helsinki: http://yle.fi/uutiset/better_walk_or_bike_tuesday__strike_spreads_to_replacement_buses/7486082

Basically 1/3 of the city, which is serviced by metro + connecting bus lines, will have to find another way to move around for a day. Living in Eastern Helsinki, I think my only option is to bike to the "East Center" (thankfully only 2km away) and try to fit in the one bus line that goes towards the city...

Good thing I'm only the project manager in a development project that has the first big meeting tomorrow at 8am sharp ::)

Quote
HSL estimates that the stoppage in transport services will affect some 200,000 people. Traffic in Helsinki’s city centre is expected to be backed up badly and the few buses that will be running are likely to be full.

Commuters are being urged to consider walking or biking to work instead.
This in a city of ~600,000 people.

So. The most common male name in Oslo (Norway's capital for the geographically retarded) is now Mohammad. Can we all agree to step down the immigration a bit?
Or every Norwegian could change their name to Hjalmar to fix the issue.

after 14 years of using nokia phones, i got myself a Samsung S3 LTE (new version with 4G and more ram and shit)

Well......i cannot believe i ever even considerd using windows phone, because Andriod is like a ton better..

Altough i am gonna miss my armoured plated Nokia. my lumia 520 took insane abuse while my friends their iphones and samsungs died by the dozens.

If tommorow a nokia phone comes out with android, im getting it (unlikly since Microsoft bought and buttfucked nokia)
I finally decided to take my 520 to have it repaired, the power button barely works & volume up button doesn't work at all. So I took my old android from the closet as a back-up phone before I get it back. I cannot believe I used to like android, it's so clunky and unintuitive to use, windows phone is so much easier.....

;) :P

Well, the good thing about android is the customization options, and scandinavian keyboard is awesome. But other than that, everything is hidden in so many menus SO MANY MENUS!!! (Using CyanogenMod 7 on ZTE Blade might have effect on that though)

Both phones were a hair over 100€ when I bought them (2010 & 2013), both are seriously made of titanium or something, as I've dropped and misused them so much. My Lumia now has some contact error with two of the physical buttons, but otherwise is perfectly fine.

ISIS puts up a rule of fasting only for 3 days in Ramadan.
How convenient, that an ultra-religious group found a rule saying you don't have to be ultra-religious in this particular situation.

I wouldn't say expert, just knowledgeable of how computers work: they rarely do like you'd assume they do, computers are really really stupid machines.

Not that it really matters which letter is used anyway, computers just draw everything looking from the "front" (like rendering stuff you see while running around), while humans tend to view stuff from the "top" (like when making maps/models). Not complicated at all ;D

So, guess who got told about 10 months ago that "we can be just friends right?" and has now for two weeks been dating the girl who said that? This guy!  8)

Also she's pretty much perfect in every way, and our personalities are almost 1:1. Except she doesn't have the /b/-corruption I suffered a few years ago.

Im kinda proud of people like you who can get girls.... seriously, its like im in a fishing boat looking to the big ships and asking myself: "how the hell did they did that awesome ting?"

good luck man!
Oh I have the same thing, no idea how all this *finally* came to be, as I've had a crush on her from pretty much the 1st night we met, ~10 months ago. I guess after spending most of the summer in a small group of friends, and then a few weeks ago while going around this wonderful island during a gorgeous sunset found the courage to say these sort-of cheesy but really sweet compliments, and then a few days later after a house party + night at karaoke bar finally told how I felt, and it worked :)

I guess the oldest tip in the world is true: find the courage to put yourself out there, no matter how frightening rejection might seem.

And yes, I'm a giant pansy.
