and I dont really need a Stalingrad map - as such a map could never represent the real city fight in any matter imo.

It's virtually impossible to represent fighting in the Pacific, or any real fighting 100% correctly in videogames frankly, does that mean we should as well scrap that whole theater?

Hi there,
It's a fan-made Gold Beach remake. In theory most fan-made maps don't contain virusses, but you can always run a scan on it to be sure. Also, as you can see, quite a few guys have downloaded it before you and haven't noted any virusses, for if they would they'd commented on this thread in fury and dissapointment already. Instead the discussion has been going on how to make this map work for the new version of fh2 which bring me to my last point and that is that this map hasn't yet been updated to 2.45 which means you'd best wait till it is.

Guys, don't know if this was reported already but something's wrong with the moveable AT-gun hitboxes. The "driver" of the AT-gun (the one standing erect and 'walking' it) will not be killed by anthing but a grenade/explosive. I've seen it multiple times that a bot walking an AT-gun just rushes (they go surprisingly fast) through a hail of fire, just passing by multiple tanks etc. and being able to reach and cap a flag behind the lines. it's impossible to hit these guys with regular rounds, be it regular tank-rounds, bullets or bayonets at point-blank, only a well-aimed grenade will do the job.

Sure way to reproduce: start a coop round on Battle of Keren, play as Brits and only cap the upper first flag, then wait for the counterattack (usually two tanks, followed by a kamikaze AT-gun, infantry depending on bot-count, I mostly play between around 20 and 32).

guys, you remember the crossbow of battlefield 2 special forces xpack? with the right mouse a vague crosshair would appear for a couple of seconds and then fade out again, perhaps something like this could be used to aim the deployable MG? would work for grenade launchers as well, but that's a different story...
