2.45 map packing scripts:

Instructions:
- extract all the .py files into mod directory (for example "mods/fh2")
- run pack-map.py (or pack-map.py [mapname])

Requires Python 2.5 2.6 or 2.7 - http://python.org/download/

Developement of Forgotten Hope 2 http://fhmod.org version control repository visualized with Gource http://code.google.com/p/gource/

This shows how the file structure of FH2 evolved from first days of 2.0 developement till 2.45. Each little dot represents a single file. This might give you an idea how many different files we have to deal with when developing FH2...

Does this mean you heave to unistall your FH2 first and then download the two parts of 2.45 and install?
The installer should automatically get rid of your old fh2 installation, but it always safe to manually remove "mods/fh2" folder and "My Documents/Forgottenhp 2/mods/bf2".

Full install will be 4,1 GB split in 2 parts.

There will be no patch form 2.4 (it turned out to be ~4GB so no point in releasing one).

Paasky: you can try enabling the event triggering in pugins simply by editing two lines in python/game/plugins/linkCPs.py:

change lines 68 and 75 to this (mind the original indentation):

Awards will be down for (maximum) of few days, there also might be database rollback of few days. It is all due to awards being moved to new (faster) server. Sorry for the downtime.

Generally, a linkCPs event can't trigger another linkCPs events (in 2.45, in 2.4 it may be even that it can't trigger ANY CP changed events). I'll check if it is really necessary, but IDK if I can get this change into 2.45.

OPen file mods/fh2/python/game/__init__.py and change line 14 to:

Save and restart the server. Join the server and play full round (or wait about 10 minutes and execute admin.runnextlevel to change the map). Now there should be 2 file in your mods/fh2 dir: fh2-debug.log and fh2-errors.log. Post the contents of those files.

I see your registered server, but none of them ever made a succesful communication with awards backend. Make sure your configuration is good, so I can activate them.
