Ive played it :P

Not that one. ;)
Well, sorta. Not exactly FH2's but Guderian's first released version of Tilly sur Suelles in WaW. It did have rain, and it was pretty fun. All it missed was Normandy stuff.

One issue that did come up with the rain was that some drops "exploded" in the air, like when it would hit ground I guess. I wonder if this was fixed for v2.2.

That was a fun map.  Would not mind playing that again this campaign.  Could you ask Risk real nice like for me Caddy?

The purpose of this deployment was to "annoy and defy the United States ... on her with Bofors 40 mm guns from a range of 650

Rain? I see no Rain.
Must be British propaganda.

I love maps with dynamic weather. Especially rain and snow maps.

Nah, if it was german propaganda everyone would believe it! So N24 is right, it must be british propaganda or something..

I don't think the BF2 engine supports dynamic weather.

I'm pretty sure that by "dynamic" Biiviz meant changing... ::)

...or does it? Doesn't seem likely to me, but I didn't play EOD2 much :P

I was a beta tester for EOD2 so I know about the rain they had on one map. It rained non-stop, though, so it wasn't 'dynamic' like The Warrior was talking about.

/edit: Unless they managed to make it dynamic in a later patch?

Yes we already have a normandy map with rain on it.

My guess is that would be PDH  ::)

Is snow possible on the BF 2 engine?

As long as it falls down it is possible.

I gotta ask Kev/Fenring, what about the tank physics has been improved? I just love that you fixed the tank sliding that made more 50X more playable.

I'd like to comment but can't really give the specifics. Its a leak and I don't want to leak more  :-[
But don't give me credit, I thought I had changed it by mistake. I'm rather sure CTZ did the tank physics changes. He is the physics expert (and coding generally), so makes sense. Don't expect to much though.

Fighting in the rain would be awesome... I could just imagine playing a map like Ramelle Nueville (minus the headache inducing spam of course) with dark clouds in a torrential downpour. Atmosphere FTW!

As long as it falls down it is possible.

So you just can create anything falling down huh? Bombs too?

You can make an explosion too, just like when the rain hits the ground, but I don't think it will do any damage then.
