Suggestions / Pickup Kits and Vehicles

I dont know if its possible, but could pickup kits be attached to vehicles?  Right now FH2 has a lot of interesting pickup kits, but most spawn in the main base.  If someone wants one after a battle has started its a long run (Purple Heart Lane) or if ur lucky a long drive back to the front.  If kits could be attached to vehicles they could be drove to a forward point. When you die, and if you want the kit again, you simply go to the vehicle get the kit and return to the fighting.  If this works i would suggest extending the life of the vehicles so when you leave them they dont blow up in a few minutes.  Heres hoping.  :)

I was thinking back the other day to the good old days of BF1942/FH1 and remembered the explosives you could set off with a plunger, and thought FH2 doesnt have that. I was wondering if something like that could be added to the game.  I know its something that would be used in real life to blow up a bridge or railroad and that FH2 doesnt have that (unless you count actonville).  I think it would still fit into the game as a way to set up a defensive position and blow it up when a vehicle or person comes thru.  Any feed back?

Just as the title reads.  I think that the anit tank mines need the warning that s mines have.  Placeing the flags just gives away their positions so most players dont use them, causing teamkills.  I feel this little tweak would be greatly appreciated.  :)

General Discussion / Mod help Mod

I was wondering, how often do mods help each other?  I've been playing since BF1942, but i came late as far as FH1, so I played Battlegroup42, which i think is a good mod.  They've got many new vehicles, weapons, and armies.  I've often felt that they should join the FH2 team as i feel they could help a lot. But i dont think thats gonna happen.  Has anyone ever asked them to donate items or support FH2?  I know BF1918 donated an artillery piece for the italians, is this rare or do mods help eachother regularly? (incase someone is wondering im not affiliated with Battlegroup42, just a guy who loves these mods)

Suggestions / Machine Gun Deploy

I know this idea has been talked about a few times but i wanted to bring it back up.  I and others have wanted a way to deploy machine guns without having to lie down.  It can be difficult if not impossible to defend a house or street this way.  Problem is there never seems to be a good way to do it.  I have an idea that might work (assuming its possibe ::)).  What if a board or sand bag was made that you could attach the gun to?  It could be placed in windows and on short walls.  The gun would be come stationary like those that are already on the maps.  When the user leaves the gun returns to them to be used normally.  It would be similar to kits that already delpoy guns, the advantage is you know that it will be right where you want it and not poping up who knows where.  I dont know if this can be done or not.  Just thought I would suggest it.

Suggestions / Deployable Objects

I would like to see more deployable objects in this game.  Things like sand bags, barbed wire, and other things.  I think they would add a new feeling when you can block paths.  Most of us have played the maps enough that we know where every path is.  If they could be blocked it would force us to think about how we wish to procced.  They would be able to be destroyed either by explosives or taken down with the wrenge by the engineer.  Any other ideas?

Ive been playing FH2 for sometime now, and one thing ive noticed is that its seems like the machine gunner kit is kinda "unpowered."  I know in real life the gunner was just ment to provide cover fire, but in FH2 the game play demands more.  I think the kit could use atleast one grenade and maybe an ammo bag like BF2.  The nade I think would be very useful for the germans and itlians since they can only use ther guns laying down.  It would give them a way to clear a building other than just there side arm.  Any feed back?

Suggestions / Italy Campaign

For the next release could there be a few maps dealing with the italian campaign.  I know maps are a challenge but i think it would be neat to have a few of the battles.  Like the Invasion and battle for the island of Sicily, Battle of Ortona, or Battle of Cassino, to name a few.  This area of the war seems to be over looked alot, due to all of the action in France.

Ok im sure im gonna catch alot of flak for bringing up this topic but im going to anyways.  How hard is it to upgrade FH1 content to FH2?  I know people are going to say not to do this because the models are ugly or whatever.  I just though with everyone wanting the eastern front so bad, why not use the older models then just replace them as new ones are made.

Can the ability to squat and take cover be added to the vickers and 30 cal tripods?  Since they sit up higher your made an easy target, with no way to take cover. :'(

Suggestions / Minor Nations

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any chance of some minor nations getting into FH2?  With 2.5 bringing in the eastern front, will nations such as Finland or Hungary get a chance to shine?  I think minor nations dont get enough credit and can really add a new feel to the game.
