Working for France Telecom not healty
« on: 16-10-2009, 12:10:54 »
http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D9BBJPVG0.htm

Yesterday the 25th suicide from a FT employee has been committed in a time spam of 18 months.
What weird things are happening at France Telecom to drive people to commit such acts.
And why are they not going postal like the postal employees did in the U.S, not that I prefer that.

I can understand you have a high pressured working environment with management breathing down your neck, but what leverage does FT have, to keep you from switching to a different job.
A really weird sociological phenomenon this news is.

Perhaps some of our French forum member have the inside details.

Milton Gault roared, "Roffey, I know bloody well that Jerry knows we are here but you don't need to advertise the fact!"
