This is a nice surprise! A WW2 tactical RTS from the makers of RUSE/Wargame Series and published by Paradox Interactive (EU4/Hearts of Iron/etc.)

I can't wait to see more about this game.  ;D

I want to start talking about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so this thread is for discussion among those who have seen it or do not care about spoilers.

This will keep the other thread from becoming a no-go zone for those wishing to be free of spoilers.

FH2 Help / Support / BF2 Audio Issues
« on: 05-02-2011, 22:02:25 »
I have this problem where Battlefield 2 (and it's mods) do not save the changes that I make under the Audio tab.

The main issue concerns VoIP.  I cannot hear anyone using VoIP ingame unless I have my mic/headset plugged in.  When I do not have my mic/headset plugged in, the options for enabling VoIP are disabled ingame and even if I reenable everything and save the changes, once I leave the Audio tab or go into a game the settings reset to disabled.

Only if my mic/headset is plugged in am I able to hear players using VoIP in PR and FH2.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?  I am using the integrated sound from my motherboard which is a MB ASUS P6T SE 1366 X58

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  :)

I had no idea what to call this thread and I am not sure that I will describe this correctly, but here it goes!

A while back on the old FF forums, there was a discussion going on about something and there was mention of an event that took place where (IIRC) surrounded and disorganized German soldiers tried to fight their way toward Western Allied lines, escorting German civilians along the way.

That is all I can remember, but it was an amazing story and I was wondering if anyone here remembers where that took place or any specifics on it.  I tried once to look for the thread and post in the FF archives shortly after the switch to these forums were made, but I had no idea what keywords to use to narrow the search down...so I never got anywhere.

Just wondering if any of the old FF vets remember mention of it or actually know of such an event.  :)
