Stug control and winter Camo
« on: 05-06-2014, 19:06:47 »
a Thing that i nearly forgotten because ist so Long ago that it was inverted in the game

first off im playing with arrow keys and several Version ago it was made that the arrow Buttons can not used for vehicles like stug or Jagdpanzers  and bren carriers also for example (i think it was the botb update)

so can you please make that the arrow Buttons can be used for all vehicles?
(everytime i try to Change it the game say that These Buttons will be allready be used for tanks)

Second
i noticed that ive never seen a Stug on the BotB maps
so is it possible to create a camo for it and put it on some BotB map too?

Entirely possible to have a winter camo on a Stug and entirely possible to put it on a BotB map. However, I dont think it will be done due to availability of the Hetzer, Jagdpanzer IV and Jagdpanther.

Arrow keys turn the turrets afaik.

How about learning WASD like everyone else?

Set up Joy2Key and you can do everything thing with every control in every way you like.
You can take a look at this thread and see how I set it up for planes and joystick, near the bottom there's also some stuff for keyboard, and you can probably adapt that.

Isn't it awfully inconvenient though? The number of keys you can reach from the arrow keys is very limited compared to wasd. Not to mention that the mouse and the keyboard would be very close together.

Well, if it works for you... thing is, back in 2.45 (or 2.4?) the possibility to control the turret with arrow keys was introduced, and that broke it.
