I read that the passwort for the files are released over steam. Will they be published as well on other plattforms (forum, bf-games.net, etc.?)

As I don't have steam I was just wondering...

They have said numerous times that it will be possible to see the password on the forums, the main page, IRC, and even Steam. I am sure it's nicely written on the main page even at this very moment.

You'll find the password on the main site (fhmod.org), on these forums, on the official IRC channel, on various BF2 gaming sites, on the steam community group and probably many more sources.

Best bet is to try the website or the forums. Im sure the IRC page and steam group will also have the password. Also try some official bf2 sites.
