I was wondering and this is also from my point of view. The Wrecked vehicle models in Normandy are much better than the africa ones. They are more realistic. When you shoot a tank in normandy the turret faces the direction it was before it died. in africa your turret could be the opposite way on the wrecked model then where you had it pointing. also africa damage models BOUNCE like no tomorrow, normandy ones dont. I personally think the normandy damage models are much nicer than the africa ones. any thoughts on changing them to the ones that normandy wrecked models do?

Suggestions / Fences and little stone walls.. Hedgerows

After 2.2 came fences are now drive through able with most vehicles ( might take a tad bit of damage but none the less get threw them) now i was wondering especially for tanks. after being able to run threw the fences do you think tanks would possibly get the ability to run threw those low lying stone walls that are like not even up past most tanks tracks.. ? little annoying when a Sherman or Tiger runs threw a fence and get stopped by a wall no larger than my shin lol..  and if not how come?

And for hedge rows when we see more Normandy maps in later updates. i was wondering like in FH1 on Charlie sector you threw explosives at the doors to breach, on normandy maps ( with the inclusion of the Hedgerow cutter on tanks already)  Maybe have certain Areas where the tanks can breach.  that would perhaps be randomized everytime the map is loaded as to not let the german forces sit there and camp the spot.  I say certain areas cause A the map would be way to laggy at that point if everything would explode,B this isnt the frost bite engine. C would make the Hedgerow choppers turn from Eye candy into usefulness

hey guys, i really did not know if this was a topic for the  suggestion or the GD.. but any way.. we all see tanks in normandy actually come to a complete stop, no moving what so ever.  the tank sights do not move.. now we shift to africa, i noticed that tanks never come to a complete stop almost on moderate small slopes etc.. and the tanks is constantly moving back and forth. cant that be changed to the tanks can come to a complete stop..  i personally and im sure im not speaking just for my self  have to press either foward or backwards most times to keep the tank from moving to far in either direction.. you can also see it in the destroyed tank models..   the africa tank models move and jump constantly. and the normandy wrekcs move for a couple of miliseconds and stop..

side note ) oh and a sig suggestion.. i like how the normandy tanks are detroyed wrecks jsut sitting there dead and not really a " Destroyed out right" tank.

FH2 Help / Support / launching shader dialog box

Hey guys after a bit ive started to get this dialog box that tells me teh shader failed to move etc etc ill get the pic. and then in the end some time like today i have reinstalled FH2 over 5 times, the game gives me numerous dialog boxes saying there are issues etc. game crashes down 

i got the torrent maybe i shoudl get a full install from maybe file planet or something?



its truely aggravating me.

hey guys i wanted to start the sound thread oh how everyone feels about the sounds in 2.2 put your thoughts on them!

i personally love the new sounds for almost all weapons.
So far the biggest badass sounding gun IMO is the MG42
though i have some thought upon other sounds..  such as the main gun of the panther tank. personally seems abit whimpy.. sounds like the Panzer 4F2 main gun, just doesnt seem to fit the panthers already bad ass sounding engine..

another sound im looking at is the M1919 it sounds a little to low of a sound.. like not loud enough.  doesnt have that umpf that the 30-06 puts out. i think it needs a bit more of a high pitchness to it.

as well as the M1 Thompson i believe has the same issue it sounds dampened likewise with the M1919.

im going to go look at other sounds that i see that dont fit the game as per say but for the most part the sounds are amazing..

Hey Guys its been a while.. been busy but ive finally getting back into FH2 more and more.. and just got back into BFe WAW.. and i was wondering..

Tank speeds.. I know on the computer you dont have a key board that has a progressive button meaning you cant hold on it lightly for a certain speed you want that like the play station can preform.  I was playing RO/DH
and that incremental speed is a large help for support infantry as they use the tank it self for cover as they slowly move forward ( making larger targets for Fausts n other weapons but useful nontheless.  I was wondering the idea of a second move foward option/ button  that would move the tank and the speed between running and walking in FH2 so infantry can utilize the tank as cover.

Also damage shown to Tanks.. is it possibly to show more damage on tanks such as fires i mean.. a tank when hit is not going to have just the engine on fire.. the engine deck is the only thing that sets on fire when the tank is damaged heavily.. what about the idea of the tank on fire and slowly dying. and have perhaps fire spewing out of the CDR's hatch? or from the turret ring? i thought that woudl be pretty neat, and the tank would slowly die more to show the fire i guess intensifying leading up to a detonation of the tanks magazines? I thought that was a good idea in some mod from BF42.. that finnish mod.. i forget the name.
