can someone please tell me how to destroy the ratte?i have tried everything from at rifles to artillery.i know you can't destroy the pz1500 from the outside.which turret do you blow up to get in the the tank?

I driven one when the server had 16 guys.
It was awesome, many airplanes coming from nowhere bombing my KITTEH. I runned over bunkers, i runner over people, i runned over entire bases, people firing 2pdrs and other shit at me

Ok, so I found it...
Its kida like a BF42 version of that objective thing in BF2142... destroying the enemy whatever its called
I didn't actually get to destroy it but I figued a few weakpoints...
For starters, every turret on it besides its main guns can be blown away, revealing an entryway for the Brits to infilterate that ratte itself... That was So-o cool...
I used a Wellington also and did a number of bombing runs... Most didn't even leave a scratch... But one did for some reason.. Still not sure which exact location of the Ratte
Also, if you go inside and breach the doors in the crew cabin, you reveal the engine room where you get to see the shell area, or whatever its called.. Fring at it or using mines does some damage, although as yet I'm not able to tell if it damages the entire ratte or just a section of it...
But boy it must be one hell of joy ride, that map... Pure joy to play, I would say.. but is it ever in circulation?
And I wish to know if the devs of FHSW have considered making an SP version... Seeing that its only the Ratte that requires new code... And perhaps the Helis. I'm sure bots spawning inside would at least be able ot cause me some harm before I reach that engine room :-)

Bots using Ratte, never.
I doubt Highly the Ratte can be used by the AI, it will be a pain in the ass to make.

But its my kitteh, and dont mess with him when shes Angry.
Actually, it was an awesome round. Too bad around 3 Jeeps assaulted me but our uber defenders killed these pesky jeeps and their crews.
Then i almost killed the entire tank by colliding with the Northen base, and from nowhere, alot, but alot of planes attacked me.
Its awesome cos the new players has no idea how to destroy it, they always drop bombs at the Main turret and frontal armor (Not many made it to Rear and Engine Deck armor)

Damn scary thing, you can hear it from miles away, you actually hear it but dont see it, may be behind fog and then you see two damn firefalls and a your ears explode because of the explosions!

This is the best thing that happend to BF1942 since the Release of FH.7!

Destroy the Pzkpfw. VI (Tiger I) turrets to reveal entry ways to the innards of the Ratte.
Blow up a door or two with the PIAT, or AT grenades, or some Comp. B ex packs.
Eventually, the ammunition magazine will be revealed, its a stockpile of bright orange shells, you can't miss it.
It takes awhile, but repetive explosives hitting the shells will cause the ultimate explosion ;D

I believe djinn was referring to BF2142. Smif assumed he was talking about Warhammer, but djinn implied he'd never heard of it. Then I explained to smif that I think djinn was talking about BF2142.
