A question about spotting
« on: 23-08-2009, 11:08:09 »
This has been bothering me for a while, so I just wanted to ask:

What classes or with what items can you spot (using the q system)

With infantry weapon using the q system, spotted enemies don't appear on the map for me. Using binocs or spotting from a vehicle doesnt present a problem though. Is this working as intended?

Oh, and dont spot moving objects, just spot a little bit under it on the terrain, since its not working 100% fine, it does work for 90%

I'm takin' my freedom
puttin' it in my stroll

spotting (painting enemy targets on the mininmap so your team can see them) as infantry ONLY works when you have binocoulars in your hands.
in addition almost ANY vehicle and static gun is able to spot enemy stuff.
