Infantry weapons stats
« on: 28-07-2010, 17:07:15 »
If somebody whines about how German weapons deal less damage or some bs, please link them here.

Calibre damages:
Rifle: 1 shot to body kills
Carbine: 1 shot to body wounds, second kills
Pistol .45: 2 shots to body kill
Pistol 9mm: 3 shots to body kill

Name: Here the name of the weapon is stated (duh)
Calibre: Consult the list above this for damage
Rate of fire/bolt speed: Rate of fire per minute or bolt speed in seconds
Reload time: in seconds
magsize: number of bullets per magazine
recoil up: Force of recoil up
recoil left/right: negative numbers means left, positive right

FH2 has no deviation when shooting through ironsights, except in some deployed mGs. However, this is negligible so I didn't list it. Deviation for hip shooting is the same for everything.

Looking at the stats i see some errors: Thompson fire rate is too slow, should be 700
Mp-40 is too fast, should be 500
I'd rather play Kimble with my ass!

They will still complain no mather what. They are the kind of people who= Enter a battle, shoot 3 allied soldiers, or kill 4 tanks, and they then get killed by a sherman, and then they whine allied bias

Its weird, the stats are the same of the luger and P38 yet i always shoot better with the luger
-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

I didn't know about those engine limitations, so therefore I'm approving the firerates as they are now. I'm not complaining, just pointing out a  false detail, that unfortunately can't be corrected.

Not to worry. I'm not thinking allied bias at any moment. I think the game is quite well balanced, apart from the desert tanking which has  been discussed to death and beyond..

Anyway the fixed fire rates are kinda annoying. To get the MG42 it now shoots two projectiles at once at 600rpm.

The only thing that I could see that COULD be recorded as ALLIES bias is 76mm Medium tank. Everything else is German (NOT BIAS) technology. If the Panther had a smooth bore gun even if it's the same 75mm caliber of the Sherm it's not Gerrry bias, it's fact.

4 xmp. You could say that the Hurry with auto-cannons is allied bias cause any tank that you see it can blow it away if he knows how 2 fly it.

The same can be said about the stuka...
ME109 and FW190 have been dominating for 3 releases now, do you see ANYONE complain like those other people do? About the sherman 76 wich appears in 2 maps? Of wich BOTH are still won more by the germans then the allies?

FW 190 is surelly Axis bias. It can out-fly and out-gun any other plane. If someone was downed in a FW in a dogfight it was either a bad situation for the FW or the pilot was MEEH.

I saw some great 2.15 pilots gave up on allied airplanes...Really they are the ones underpowerd

But this is not a balance discussion thread!

Rate of fire/bolt speed: 600 x 2
Thats of the MG42 what does it mean?

It shoots two projectiles at once at 600rpm to circumvent the rof limitation.
