ANZAC Day 2011
« on: 24-04-2011, 13:04:56 »
They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

We will remember them

One of my best memories from my time in Sydney was my trip to the ANZAC War Memorial

Looking up inside at the roof and seeing all the stars, 120 000 stars. One for each New South Wales volunteer in WW1.

I past that memorial like twice every day for 3 weeks. Never went inside. Looked closed to me. That, or i couldn't find the entrance.
I see were you are trying to reach: "how can a 17 year old kid have such a thinking like this? why doesnt he wants to be like normal teens who whana get rich? and his plan actually makes sense, but is too damn revolutionary and good at the same time than is still doubthfull if it works..." - Damaso
