Planes always have been and always will be, a part of FH game play. I can to some extent agree that the interaction between player in plane and player on ground is somewhat one-dimensional, but we do throw everything we have at the ground forces to be able to defend themselves.

What we lack is elements of overtaking airfields and denying the other team their air forces, only Cobra afaik offers this (and even there you arent denying, only moving the enemy air force)

I also think that air-to-air battles end a bit prematurely, longer duration dogfights should make it more fun. And ofcourse, some clear objective for players in planes is needed, apart from just randomly flying around in a little box and randomly spam rockets or bombs to the left and right.

Planes arent designed bad, handling and maneuverbility has increased a lot the last year. they just lack a clear target experience. They're flying tanks, more or less.

I know this hase been discussed one zillion times, but can we have nosecam back?!

Now since Lobo is gone, there might be a chance.  :P
This would make planes much better to use an compensate for the ridiculously small view distance..

Currently the FW 190 on Bastogne for instance is nearly useless for the average pilot (this excludes uber aces such as Karel88..)

I flew against him on several occasions... The final score was around 10 to 1... It was bloody hard, but I did manage to get that kill in the end...  8)

About Karel I ain't very sure if he is using cheats or not because I had several moments were something was wrong like in an airfight he was behind me and he was shooting bullets clearly over my plane and I got damage to that bullets or one moment I shot 3 garand bullets in his body in close combat he survived and even could sprint.

But there are also times he is clearly using tactics like in an airfight when I was in an hurricane behind him and he went to an higher allitude were I followed him untill he turned when I had troubles with turning the plane because of lower speed.

Other thing for aircombat maybe better health so combat isn't over in one second even with the stuka.

Sorry for my English.

Tanks and Inf are fighting at the Front, but an Aircraft is not flying 45 Minutes over them to shoot down Single Infantery Units. Keep Tanks in Second Line = Posible, even if they only stay 200 Meters behind the 1st line.

But Aircrafts nonono even no magic rearm in the Air, they are Gods of the Battlefield in BF2.
I enjoy the Games without em so much.

I would hate to see a FH2 without airplanes.  And that comes from someone who flies in maybe 1%, if that, of his time in FH2.

Well said brother
