The BAR sounds like some guy screaming "AH AH AH AH". But they're good.

I really like that these sounds have some more bass to them. Guns in real life not only have audible feedback, but also physical (shockwaves). The heavier, full sounds of this modification give a more 'real life' experience, although that does not mean the sound itself is 100% realistic (cannot judge that)

Will the deathscreams and nades I hear all around me while they are miles away be fixed for 2.26?

Yeah, I believe that "PIAT (or any of handheld AT, etc.) projectiles exploding miles away whilst still sounded like they exploded right next to someone" was one of the first things reported after 2.25 was released :P

Personally I like these modded sound - But they ring more like FH1 Brutwurst soundpack version 2 i.e. alot of Spielbergs - Not neccesarily more realistic - I think FH2's current sound effects are on the right track - Especially tank canon sound... best I've heard in any game... just not there yet is all... No need to use this opportunity to bash the devs. They are doing more than the best they can - Alot of their sounds, although subtle are more in the right direction than most other games...

I like them.

The Ma Deuce had a little too much echo, especially being out in an open field.  It might echo like that in an urban setting.

The grease gun sounded scary, too!

The echo came from the default FH2 50cal.
