[Preview] Watchtower's Forgotten Hope 2 v2.4 Sound Conversion

I'm nearly ready to release this and as such I'm releasing some media for preview.

Some sound warping may occur, the videos are compressed and as such will not 100% reflect the quality of the sounds. 
This is most apparent with rifles sounding washy.


Features:

- Full infantry weapons makeover.

Every weapon is replaced, edited or enhanced.  Includes every faction, including all deployable and turret mounted weapons, new v2.4 additions,   Bazookas & Anti Tank Rifles.

- Nearly every Tank, Mortar, Anti-Air & Anti-Tank Gun
- Some Air Weapons
- New distance effects sounds
- New explosions
- Impacts, Material effects
- Does not include new vehicle engine sounds (possible future endeavor)

Note - Contains samples of actual real world guns recorded, previously released sound packs, and some games. Each sound is a new original mix edited in some fashion to be original and unique -- contains no 100% direct sound rips.

I'm hoping to release this before *edit* 7/31  I've been working on it since about a month before 2.4 came out and have put a lot of time into it.

Does it work online / pure servers?

Yes.   Guaranteed no kicks/bans or punkbuster issues* No problems on any of the FH2 servers including:

 762 1 & 2, HSLAN, Forgotten Honor Pub, Tourney & 126,  World at War Tournament & Public Servers, Wolf Gaming, etc.


For Optimum Playback Quality, I Recommend these Equalizer & Balance Settings -

Liked: Explosion sound, Impacts sound, SMG
Not liked: Panzer MG sound
Between like and not like:Regular gun sound like the K98, MG42
Unclear which sound it was: Distance effect sound

The MG34 on tank turrets is a tough one, as the vehicle sound is a 22khz mono sound, which is very low quality, about half that of standard weapons which is 44100 stereo.   This is a core engine thing and is one major setback for vehicle audio in the 3rd person, talk to Fh2's sound guy, he probably hates that.

I did my best to compensate by equalizing and enhancing those 22khz mono sounds as best as possible, but there is only so much that can be done.

The deployable version of the MG34 sounds much better.

Well yeah, no game can get it perfect, as doing so would require either hearing protection or everyone accepting permenent hearing damage.  But in this case, those are just bad effects....  The FH2 weapon sounds are perfectly acceptable, these are a major downgrade.

I like some of them. Basically anything to fix the Lewis! I also like the 3p MG42 he has and the 20mm!!! <3
But, FH2 has really stepped up there gun sounds! (When nobody is home I blast the speakers and go FUCK YEA!)

I like the Kar98 3p and 1p too. I want to hear the bren!!! Cause FH2 bren sound is bad.

Yes, but I simply hate the current bren sound, the one from the sound pack that was presented some weeks ago was awesome, mde me play the bren alot more.

Indoors Bren sound is pretty good though...

i pretty much hate the indoor sounds, its like you are in a huge container
