They indeed look like them but they could also be East-German boots, high possibility.

They have the Metal studs and cap on the sole if that helps.

Do they have any kind of maker mark?  LIke a stamped area either on the sole, inside the shoe itself, or on the sides?  If you can't find anything, they're prob either reproduction or east/west german ones that someone put hobs in.  If you can find a good stamp, tell me what it is (some reproduction companies use their own stamps, so that no one can claim its real).

Either way, how much are they?  Reproed, hobbed, jackboots run around 150 bucks -250 bucks.

And 12th SS uniform?  Do you reenact with the 12th SS out here in California?  Or is it just a uniform you're putting together?

Nah, I'm in the UK, and I don't reenact yet. Too young to be aloud to in most cases.

Here is a photo of the bottoms. I know they are repro for a fact. I just want to know if they are 2nd world war, or East german.

Oh, so you know they're repro?  Well, east german and originals have essentially no difference other then east german have rubber soles.  These have heavily hobbed soles, so you're fine.  Get them.  Only thing, after you do, remove the heel iron, and replace it with a heel iron from here:

You'll have to go to a cobbler, don't try to do it on yourself.

TBH An eastgerman smocks normal colour will be close enough if its just a halloween costume. And it'll be dark etc.

East german boats are more pointy at the front, and the sole is full rubber. I stil have them somewhere.

Yeah, they're fine for WW2 german.  Just change out the heel irons, as I said, whenever you get a chance.

12th ss Uniform (TUNIC ?)
Hi guys; i'm trying to build up an 12 ss "Hitlerjugend" uniform. So far I have a tunic, m35 helmet, a vest, belt, webbing, boots (in the post) and other various non essential bits and pieces.

I am a bit confused about the Tunic I have though.. It's got 5 buttons, which as far as i am aware was how many the SS tunics had. But it has 3 belt hole on either side, front and reat, which as far as i'm aware was only on the standard heer uniforms; Any help out there guys? And don't ask what model tunic it is because i can't remeber :P

Right I know the SS is a touchy subject and for that reason I did remove the SS collar tabs from my tunic...

Woops, publised without attaching the photos :P please bear with...
