I don`t think its a wise decision to start such a poll right after a new update. Players don`t have a good overall impression then, because then there are quite few maps played.
Anyway, the map cycles are so unbalanced that only the ongoing maps avoid me from playing FH2 its always the same stuff, although there would be enough material to create huge variety map cycles- I think I have played Operation Hyacinth maybe 2 or 3 times in 3 years FH2. But thats another topic.
So here my top 3 maps:
Hurtgen
This map just offers such a fresh game mechanic, that pushing through the forrest to the final epic end fight for Germeter... Maybe the most atmospheric FH2 map, and the last stand at Germeter is so damn thrilling and full of action- amazing.
Operation Goodwood
As already mentioned, I love the variety. And Goodwood offers a whole lot of variety. You can go by foot or tank, into the open field, a village, farm or town, and have fun on every way. The combination of different terraints and arms on Goodwood ist awesome.
Lebisey
I think Lebisey is one of the smallest maps in FH2 and thats what i love: After the first few minutes, the battle goes into the width of the map and there is simply everywhere someting going on: fights in that mansion and the forest around, fights in the town, the church, brits trying to take the Tiger down, snipers in the church- everything going on at once. Action and speed on this map make it to one of my favorites.
