Spawmpoints:
TS4ever said the most. Nevertheless i dont like it that much, and for me it doesnt make too much sense at most maps. In Ramelle its almost acceptable, because you just need to run forward. But then on the other hand you spawm direct at the flag at "right flank" So either you make it for all flags in the same distance or you quit it. Then further: whats the idea behind it? That you cant defend so fast, but same goes for attacking. So both sides are limited in their movements. And espesially on the "bridge flag" for US troops. You need to run over the full bridge and when you reach the other side there is a Tiger waiting at "fontain" flag, killing one by another, and you cant run for cover because all of your running charma was lost by crossing the bridge.
(But Ramelle needs in my eyes quite a lot of work in future: 3 rockets for bazooka, more engineers kit for US (little more for german) less fire in the buildings so the fps drop is limited (I think someone mentioned that as the dropping reason) Some secret places that should not be accesable etc. )
St. Lo.Clearly one of the best maps in the mod. The big flagzones are very welcome and fair. The best battles are between Hill and Us Mainbase in the woods (good we have ardennes next will be epic) And this map gives you a lovely & happy surrounding, nothing is broken, no fire, beautiful weather. Best airsoft weather
But there are 1-2 things you can make better if you want
Make something so that you cant shoot from Villiers flag into US Mainbase( a gate, some trees, wathever) Available spawmpoint in Villers or (this leads me to the second idea): The crossing in the middle is such a markable point in this area, but it gets almost no attention in the game, maybe you could there make a spawmpoint, which is for axis spawm only. So Villers is then only US and the crossing is only german, this would encourage the battle for the city.
Africa maps First I want to say something I often say in the game: Africa IS THE THING that made Forgotten Hope that what it is now! Remeber this ! So the declaration of some guys that Africa is just shit, cant be true because then noone would have played it and we wouldnt write in this forum today.
You cant compare those 2 theathers. Green vs Sand. Hedges vs Desert, long distances vs hedge to hedge.
I love them both. But some Africa maps really need a redo, because many thing got changed in the settings.
2 pounder: to many at Siege of Tobruk, leading the german movment to zero. Same goes for Bofors as they seem to be made stronger in the first Normandy patch. (Mersa Matruh, almost unable to fly there --> no flying --> no killing of 2pd. --> no tankmoves)
OP. Aberdeen One of the most interessting maps before Normandy. Afterwards: British rapefest. Reasons: limited PzGr40 ammo, stronger 2pd+crusader(?) and too much strong allied tanks (IIRC: Valentine and 2 Matildas).
Gazala: strong Bofor+2pd+no mobile AA truck, which can protect the german movments against the really strong Hurricans. Alma Halfa the same. (eventhough it was really good the last time I played it at GN.)
I just think that there should be a middle way with the 2pdrs.

Edit: In addition: what makes El ala such a good africa map: With almost the same tanks in every other a. map? The lack of 2pd.
