There is a surrender key already in place in Arma 2. However there is very little reason to surrender anyway so it is most likely a cutscene.

Im surprised there wasnt about this before.
As a fairly long-standing Arma player, this is a no-brainer for me. The simple fact that you can mod your firearm on the fly instead of having to choose only one from the armoury instantly sold it for me back at Gamescon.

I still dont get why people are amazed by this. Apart from the persistence and realtime thing, this is pretty much Arma modding 101. I guess the best ideas are the simplest at the end of the day.
