Ok, a few weeks ago lighting blew up my old PC.  I get a new one, but keep the old mouse (an expensive Logitech gaming mouse).  After reinstalling BF2/FH2, I'm playing with everything maxed and all is well. The old mouse works great.  Then, a few days ago, the mouse starts flipping out.  Not working at all. I was told that this was a lingering effect of the lighting strike.  I don't know. Anyhow, one of the things that went wrong was that the scroll wheel stopped allowing me to move through my weapons.  So, I bought a new mouse.  Just a basic, corded mouse.  Now, it works fine, but there's still no scrolling through my weapons with the scroll wheel.  I also have a Nostromo N52 Gamepad, which does allow me to scroll through the weapons.  I'd prefer not to use it for that though, since using the mouse is faster and more ergonomic.  I've always used the Nostromo and have never had a conflict, so I don't think it's that.

Any idea why I'm having this problem?  How do I get my scroll wheel to flip through the weaponry and why did it quit in the first place?

I own an antique shop.  A couple of months ago I bought about 150, WWII era newspapers (St. Louis Post Dispatch and St. Louis Globe Democrat).  The papers were complete, and in very good shape.  They all had really great headlines from 1939, 1940, 1944 and 1945.  I paid about ten bucks for all of 'em.  I've sold about $200.00 worth.  Two days ago, a guy comes in and offers me $500 for the remaining papers (125 or so).  I said I'd think about it.  The papers could've made me about a grand over time.

Yesterday he comes in and says how bout a straight trade for this . . .







I thought about it for a second . . . then took the pistol.  I figure the pistol is worth about $500 - $800.  I've always wanted one, but knew I'd never really drop that kind of money to buy one at an auction or gun show.  I could've made more over the long run with the papers, but how often does an opportunity to buy a P38 for ten bucks come up?

I believe this is a WW2 era pistol, but I'm not sure.  I'm not really familiar with the P38.  The markings are different than the P38's I find on the net.  It does have matching numbers and there is a waffenampt on the frame (eagle over 463).  I'll need to take it apart to see what other numbers/marks are on it.

Even if it's a post-war, re-worked pistol, it's still pretty cool.  Can't wait to shoot it!
