On a related note. I think the map choice is a bit.. weird. It's to small and cramped for real tactics so it boils down to who shoots first. That means that teams with a high ping are at a huge disadvantage.

I think for this being the first Nations Cup the map choices may not be the best, but I think that the cup did two things.  It brought a little bit of excitement to the community while we all impatiently wait for FH2.2 and secondly it gave us a chance to meet new people and have fun playing the game we love.  I can say that I've seriously enjoyed the first Nation Cup and hope Dutch and gang will do again.  The only item I wish could be changed, but do not know how it can be is the server issue.  My first round my ping was so high that I just couldn't do anything with any success.  I guess I should have played more euro servers to learn how to compensate.  I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

wow, there is the possibilty the final round of the Cup being played Poland vs. Poland.

The issue with the loser bracket sucked, so there probably wont be one posted sadly. Hopefully there will be another cup, with more teams like Portugal, France and the UK.

It would be really nice if this CUP could be hold annually or even every half a year. like summer and winter Olympics  :P  only winter maps during the winter time (when we get the winter maps of course)

yes I would think so. And as you can see, today we beat the record of the most people online on the forums. 134 people online, probably even more on the servers in total, so this event was sure a good idea and very good for the community.

Thanks Dutch for organizing this event, it was a great idea and mighty fun.
